Announcements/Good of the Order:

.Sec Paul reports the 2nd District Membership Meeting will be held on Sat, Nov 13th 10:00 AM at the Blind Community Center on Upas in San Diego.

.1st Veep Rob announced that Moreau and Blottin will find a permanent replacement for the position of 3rd Veep due to Fabian’s horrendous work load.  Fabian will continue as a member and hopes to join us for the Thursday evening meetings.

.Treas Paul reported on the club’s financial health as presented at the board meeting last week.  The donations for City of Hope now exceeds $900.  Keep putting your dollars in the table cans.

.1st Veep Rob announced the HGH Golf Tournament is this Friday.  He donated 4 hole sponsorships in the name of El Cajon Valley Host Lions.  Thanks Rob!

VICE PRESIDENTS REPORTS

1st Veep Rob Ransweiler:  Phil Smith has secured a 2-piece band for our pancake breakfast.  Henry and Kathy Coleman have donated the food for our breakfast through their vendors at The Brothers Restaurant in Allied Gardens.  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

2nd Veep Carl Ruiz:

.Paul Walters reported that he is hoping to have members of our own LEO Club participate in our Student Speakers Contest in February.  If not he will approach other schools for contestants.

.Chris reported at our board meeting that one of our SPOT machines is in the Mt. Empire School District but it will be retrieved at brought back to the El Cajon Valley Union School District.

3rd Veep  – Position is currently vacant

Membership Chair Cathy BailesWe will have an information table at the pancake breakfast to be manned by volunteers from the club.  Please remember to greet our guests throughout the morning.
