PROGRAM:

Lakeside School Board member Andrew Hayes

Andrew is a candidate (vs Carl DeMaio) for the 74th Assembly District in CA.  Andrew was born and raised in East County attending primary grades in Lakeside then on to USD.  He is a member of the Lakeside School District Board.  The LSD revamped school criteria to include work -related non-college-credit classes, this included junior high school and high school.  Andrew led a coalition to keep paroled sex offenders out of Lakeside.  As for school choice, he believes parents should have the right to choose the school with the best curriculum for their children.
