.PP Bob Moreau discussed new club officers for 2022-2023. Two additions will be Ron Nevels as our 3rd VP and PP Walt will join Bob and Bob as a Tail Twister.
.Sec Paul W reported that the District Lions Learning Day is June 4th. This is held for new club officers, Chairpersons and Lions would are interested in learning more about Lionism.
.PDG Len presented Newbie KATIE ZOLEZZI (transfer from San Diego Host) with her ‘goodie bag’ which included her club work shirt, cap, name badge and welcome packet.

PROGRAM:
Peter Singer is a candidate for San Diego County Superior Court Judge. The Superior Court handles mostly civil rather than criminal cases. He has been with San Diego Downtown Lions since 1988 and that club is celebrating their 100-year anniversary this year having been hosted by Los Angeles Host. He is the only San Diego club President to serve 2 terms. He currently works for the San Diego Superior Court as a Commissioner and as such presides over a court just like a judge but for infractions only and cannot impose sentencing. Peter is on the faculty of San Diego Judicial College and teaches 3 courses.
NOTE: If any member wishes to chair or be on a club committee please contact the incoming Vice President of that committee. It is hopeful that all committee positions will be filled in support of our club.
