I want to congratulate Lion Warren for his patience in getting everyone into the Zoom meeting scheduled to be held today at 3PM. We began around 3:40 +/-.
We could have used Treasurer Paul'[s invocation today just to get things moving but once Prez Chris got connected and called the meeting to order everything went smoothly.
GOOD TO SEE: All the Lions members who joined the meeting but in particular PP Grant Thiem JR and PP Ray Ridlon. Only a couple didn’t have/use video but all others looked fine and healthy.
ANNOUNCEMENTS/GOOD OF THE ORDER:
.Secretary Paul reported the Elks Lodge would be shut down through May.
.In an effort to get our new slate of officers officially voted in, the 2020-2021 ballot is at the end of this newsletter and is to be considered the 3rd and final reading. Prez Chris and PDG Len will let us know how and when our voting will take place.
.Treasurer Paul gave a brief update on new things going on at City of Hope and as details become more concrete he will give us a report on the new program.
.The Board will hold a Zoom meeting on Monday, May 4th at 3PM. If you would like to join the meeting as a club member/observer please contact Lion Warren McKenna prior to the 4th.
