HOW I GOT INTO LIONS by PP Mark Clifton
Mark has been a mechanic all his life………or so it seems to him.
Lion Gary Duffin invited Mark to a meeting at the time PP Ron Snow was President of the club (1997-1998).
Apparently at this meeting PP Ron was wearing a Tu-Tu and that was Mark’s first impression of the El Cajon Valley Lions, although he thought most of the members were pretty regular guys.
Mark feels his life changed dramatically over the last 22 years after joining Lions. He was paying rent at the time and Mark Robak found him a building for his business but Ron Snow built him a new building and Stoney financed the building.
