PROGRAM –

Abraham Muheize, athlete alumni from El Cajon Valley High School and co-owner of the San Diego Kings basketball team.

Abraham was born and raised here in El Cajon, attending all the local schools and played football for El Cajon Valley HS.  He was recognized with the KUSI Silver Pigskin.  He says he learned that giving of oneself is just as important as giving money, a lesson he learned from Lion Daryl Priest years ago.

Abraham started a men’s basketball league at El Cajon Valley HS having procured sponsors and celebrities and raised over $9500 for the school.  His program made it possible for all the freshmen to get an ASB card which made all school activities available to them.  New students only have to pay $7 for their ASB card and the balance comes from the money Abraham raised.

The next natural step was to start up his own professional basketball team but needed a sponsor and got the idea from someone in Florida to hire an attorney and the sponsorship was free advertising for them and the team named after the sponsor hence his team is called “The Kings” after attorney King Amapour.

The team is doing great and they are out in the community speaking to the youth in the local schools.  Abraham has also gotten Sycuan on board as a donor.  The team currently plays out of Lincoln HS in San Diego which is where the team coach coaches.

For a team schedule go to SDKingsBasketball.com.  Abraham will drop off tickets by for the club.
