APRIL EXEMPT BADGE: _PP Chris Bramwell $100 = bought a $200,000 car, has retired from joke telling & singing, he & Kathy went to Viejas and won $217, they saw Abba at Sycuan then won $42 and, he is going to get gambling lessons.

Weekly casino night planning committee meetings will continue after our regular meetings.

Tickets and flyers are available, and Treasurer Paul T asks that all pre-sold ticket stubs be turned in to him by Monday, April 14th, along with the corresponding payments.

Julie reported that she and Madeline are assembling baskets with doing social media postings.

2nd VP Bob Sanchez: No Report

3rd VP Penny Duane: Gift cards, items, and full baskets are requested for the silent auction.  Please bring your donations by Monday, April 14th, to accommodate sufficient time to assemble baskets/packages.  Nothing will be accepted for the auction on the day of our event.

DG Leo Williams, Jr. presented Monarch (tenure) Chevrons to: Christian Willie 15 years, Chris Bramwell 10 years, Jeff Smith 10 years, Ed Waymire 25 years, Ron Black 55 years, Warren McKenna 20 years, and Terry Winegar 40 years.  Congratulations to all for your many years of service to Lionism.

After accolades to our membership for all the great work the club has done, DG Leo also gave a district-wide update.  Three new clubs have formed this year.  He then reported on our upcoming convention in Yuma, where voting will be done electronically for the first time this year.  The finals of the MD4 Student Speakers Contest will be held on May 31st, 2 PM at the Hilton Bayside in San Diego.
