PROGRAM:

Dr. Mathew Willis, DCfrom American Diabetes Association

Dr. Willis’ private practice is homeopathically dealing with diabetes without medications.  Type 2 diabetes is his specialty.  In CA ages 55+ seniors is affected by pre-diabetes (insulin resistance). Type 1 is not reversible but Type 2 is and affects vision, weight, neuropathy, kidneys, and heart/stroke.  Alzheimer’s is now considered Type 3 diabetes.

The best thing you can do for your brain is to balance your blood sugar.

The United States is ranked 46th in health in the world according to the World Health Organization.  We use 75% of the drugs manufactured but are only 4 ½% of the world’s population.  We are overmedicated.

Insulin resistance has to do with pancreas function and 30 million Americans have Type 2 diabetes and 86 million are pre-diabetic.

Dr. Willis was kind enough to waive his one-hour consultation fee for those Lions making an appointment at the meeting.

You can reach Dr. Willis at his Sorrento Valley office, the practice is Advances Functional

Medicine and the website is functionalmedicinesandiego.com.
