PROGRAM:
Morgan Gunning with Supervisor Joel Anderson’s office.
Morgan is an Intern and as such presented a Legislative update. Supervisor Anderson authored a bill to ensure every Veteran and future Veterans receive all the benefits they are entitled to.
The Supervisor’s office has opened grant applications to organizations that can provide a venue to place ‘sleeping cabins’ for the homeless within District 2. Additional County grant programs available through the supervisor’s office are a Small Business Stimulus Grant Program for businesses & nonprofits affected by COVID-19, a Neighborhood Reinvestment Program for nonprofit organizations & public agencies, and a community Enhancement Program for nonprofits & public organizations. And finally, Supervisor Anderson is hosting a Holiday Legislative Open House on Thursday, Dec 14, 2023. 6 PM to 8 PM at the Lakeside Rodeo grounds. RSVP at bit.ly/HOLOH23 by Dec 8th.
