Announcements/Good of the Order:
*Treasurer Paul T presented financial information as submitted to the club Board. The pancake breakfast made a tad under $5,800 and the placemat advertising will garner approx. $2,500.
*Rotarian Ginger Poutous dropped off 2 huge bags of used eyeglasses, with our thanks.
*Six club members attended recent 2nd District Membership Meeting. We had the most!
*Lions District 4-L6 Annual Christmas Party will be held on Dec 19th $35 more info to come
*Len is taking orders for poinsettia sales ($10) to benefit Singing Hills Lions charities.
*Scott Hollingsworth and his siblings will be at our Dec 6th meeting to present a check on behalf of their Dad, PP Jerry Hollingsworth, for the El Cajon Valley Lions Foundation. Please plan on attending this very important meeting/presentation.

VICE PRESIDENTS REPORTS:
1st Veep Rob Ransweiler:
Casino Night has been changed from 3/26 TO March 19, 2022.
2nd Veep Carl Ruiz:
Chris reported that he has all SPOT machines on hand and 2 need refurbishing. Since the 3rd machine is nearing the end of its’ warranty period the Board decided to take out a 3-year maintenance contract on each at a cost of $1,000 each.
3rd Veep – Keith MacArthur:
*Phil Smith reported that Dec 2nd is our cub Christmas party – good food and fun, to wit: The Grinch and the balloon lady and Santa hopefully will make an appearance.
*Bob Moreau said collection of funds for our Christmas Basket Program will take place at our December meetings. We will have 35 LEO Club members do the taping and filling of the baskets but do need drivers for Saturday 12/18 8AM delivery. We are serving 80 families.
* Nov 21st – Virtual Mother Goose Parade 1PM

Exempt Badges for November: Mark Clifton and Tom Normandie – good through 2021. Mark is hoping this will cover Rob’s first fine. Tom just spent 4 days in Borrego Springs; his son and girlfriend will be here for Xmas; He Tom and Malone’s daughter and her hubby bought a 5th wheel so they camp all camp together now.
Club members fines and Happy Dollars today went for tipping our great servers, Carrie and Dean. Van put in $20 for a winning ticket and was the first to donate then Bramwell $100, Yvonne $50 and all club members gave $5 to $20. Since the total at this point was $597 Paul T put in another $3 and Tom Hoban felt it should be $500 to each server so ‘threw in’ another $400. Very generous of everyone for making a great holiday for Dean and Carrie.
