Announcements/Good of the Order: Sec. Paul announced the LCI Board Of Directors along with LCI President Douglas Alexander were here last week, they were very impressed with District 4L6 for their hospitality and the dinner served at the San Diego Host Lions Clubs.

PP Ray’s Ramblings: Something about after being married for 50+ years we were able to have a nice house, not in debt, beautiful TV, and a nice car. After the wife passed away he meet a 25 year old. Now we live in an apartment, old car, B&W TV, and poor.

Exempt Badges for November: Postponed until Nov. 8 meeting.

PROGRAM: Guest Speaker, Mark Gould, Department Of Rehabilitation Blind Field Services (DOR). Mark started to work at the San Diego Center for the Blind in 1986. After 26 years he decided to get a new job at the DOR in 2013. The DOR is responsible to offer education, and  training for any person with a permanent disability who is looking for employment. They use ZOOMTEXT and JAWS for training of the blind. They do not help stay at home independent vocational individuals. The DOR is funded 80% by the Federal Government and 20% by the State.
