PROGRAM:

PP Kiley Grunstad

Spoke on ‘the markets today’.  Kiley reports the S&P remains strong and the bond market is not as strong.  The strongest stock today is AI-Artificial Intelligence, tech stock, which is up 60% for March-March.  The S&P is up 36% for the same period.  In the first 3 months of this year, tech is up, and other markets are stronger also.

The key to a well-balanced portfolio is to stay diversified.

Growth has outpaced value for the March-March timeframe.

Edward Jones expects a rate cut to 5.25% in June and possibly again in Sept & Nov of this year.

Retail is shrinking and stores are closing accordingly, as in-store thefts continue to increase.

Emerging market bonds still have good opportunities.

Kiley’s final thought is to keep everyday-use (staples-type) stock in your portfolio.
