PROGRAM:

PP Kiley Grunstad spoke on pyrotechnics (fireworks). His contact information is KGpyro2020@gmail.com.

Although Kiley began loving fireworks at age 8, he has been a licensed professional for 6 years. Kiley is a Pyro License issued by the State of California Fire Marshall. Safety is the #1 priority when working with explosives.

There are 3 safety features on the ‘firing board’, THE key, a switch, and the pin. There is also ‘computer generated firing’ (pyro digital) which can fire many simultaneously and this system requires a key and a ‘dead man’ button, one doesn’t work without the other.  And the 3rd system uses a ‘remote firing board’.

Kiley says the cost of a single firework can range from $30 to $300 EACH per shot.  He obtains his product from China, the largest fireworks manufacturer, Vietnam, the Philippines, Europe, and the United States.
