ANNOUNCEMENTS/GOOD OF THE ORDER:

.Treas Paul T has distributed a rough draft of our club directory.  Please check out your information and let Paul know if corrections/additions need to be made.  The directory will be going to print within the week.

.PDG Mercy inducted Newbie Bob Sparks with his sponsor, Jim Sing, at his side.  WELCOME!

.Treas Paul reported on our financial health for the first month (July) of this fiscal year.  We have $45K in the bank with $7K due from members.

.IPP Chris took a poll on what meals we would enjoy the most – 6 meal selections and 3 desserts were voted upon.

3RD VEEP Bob Sanchez:  PP Chris reported only 25 have signed up for the annual picnic and he will have the sign-up list available again next week.           

Membership Chair Cathy Bailes: 

Sept 8th is the East County Chamber of Commerce First Friday Breakfast.  Our club will sponsor a table and we will hand out Lions Club information.

.Ed W $10 on TV recently and a sad for the San Diego Grinch who has been served with a cease-and-desist order from Dr. Seuss’ estate.  The Grinch will continue ‘under the radar’ henceforth.

.Christian $5 for another shameless plug for the Elks Law Enforcement Appreciation Night – this Saturday at the Elks Lodge $20 – our own IPP Rob Ransweiler will be the MC.

.Gary S $51 anniversary of he and Gail’s first date (in their Sophomore year) at the KGB Ball, and a trip to Tahoe wherein Gail won.

.Jim S $5 Happy Bob Sparks became our newest Newbie.
