ANNOUNCEMENTS/GOOD OF THE ORDER:
.1st VP Keith read the 3rd Reading of the Ballot for our Officers for fiscal 2024-2025.
With our loss of Cathy Bailes, her name was replaced with PP Tom Normandie as Program Chair and with Sec Paul Walters as Membership Chair. Voting was held and the ballot, as presented, was unanimously approved. Congratulations to all incoming officers.
.Sec Paul W reported that Lion Dyna is holding an event on Sat May 18th, 1-5 PM at the Spring Valley Community Center 8735 Jamacha Blvd, SV. Tropical attire. Free
.Treas Paul T reported on April’s finances stating there were a few abnormal expenses including meal expenses, but YTD meal expenses are within $200 of the projected budget.
.PP Chris vowed that for the meetings on 5/20 and 6/3 he would not say a word and would hold up signs of response either “Yes” or “No”. Should he falter, he will donate $500 to the club but should he prevail, each member will donate $5.

.Sadly, Lion Cathy Bailes passed away May 10th at her home. Our condolences to Lion Keith and their family. RIP Cathy. Info to come on disposition as it becomes available.
.Lion Carol Livesay is home from a knee operation, and we hope she’s back with us soon.

.Nearly every member gave $20-$50 in memory of Lion Cathy Bailes. It was agreed that all $760 will go to our foundation.

.Ron Nevels Mother turned 91.
.Gail Sims won at the casino, and then Gary lost most of it at the casino.
