Sec Paul gave a service activity report on our club for fiscal 2022-23.

We received a Thank You letter from Crisis House for our donation.

GOOD CHEER: Cathy Bailes is home and feeling better however her doctor says her ONLY outings will be to the doctor’s office.  She hopes to be back with us next Monday.

Ray Hackworth is not doing well and may be unable to make meetings in the future.

JULY 15th – ECVH LC Past President’s Steak Fry 4 PM at Bob Moreau’s ranch-ALL MEMBERS ARE WELCOMED, AND ENCOURAGED, TO ATTEND.

JULY 20th – El Cajon Valley Lions Foundation Meeting 6 PM Elks Lodge Conference Room

July 28th – ECVH LC Day at the Races 4 PM signups at meetings. See PP Gary Sims

Aug 19th – Elks Law Enforcement Appreciation Night – details to come.

Sept 23 – ECVH LC Annual Picnic at the Bramwell Estate – 1-5 PM

VICE PRESIDENTS REPORTS:  All Veeps are requested to confirm committee chairs under their purview.

1ST VEEP Keith McArthur:  Progress

2ND VEEP Ron Nevels:  No Report

3RD VEEP Bob Sanchez:  IPP Rob reported the steak fry will consist of steak, baked potatoes, and beans.  Plans are to eat between 4:30 and 5-ish.

JULY EXEMPT BADGE(s): Carter Short and Tom Hoban

Carter is taking a surfing trip to Viet Nam, Bali, and Japan.

Tom is happy he didn’t die from his ladder fall, he’s going to Cabo for 5 days and, he sold a Ferrari

Yvonne $5 enjoyed the time off from newsletter duties.

Ron N $5 back from a 4-day trip to New Orleans

Dave S $5 “We” won the national championship.  Ed. Note: The “we” could be Alpine American Little League having won the CA District 41 Intermediate T.O.C Championship OR it could be the Santee 8U softball All Stars team having won the State Championship.

Gary S $5 went to Mexico for 5 days.  The easy trip down and only 1-hour wait at the border on return however due to the toxicity of his passengers it seemed like 3 hours.

Rob 2-$10 a. his new title is Immediate Past President and, b. his youngest just got his license.

Mike R $10 enjoyed helping on the ‘luggage patrol’ for Camp Jack campers.

Len $20 good to see Cathy Zeman

Dr. Sally $3 happy she woke up this morning.
