1st: Kat Zeman: Don Anthony report

Pancake Breakfast

  • Pancake breakfast confirmed for October 4
  • Date correction needed before LEO attendance planning
  • Car show added to breakfast program
    • Flyer in preparation for electronic distribution
    • Strong response from people bringing cars
    • Cars planned along east end of parking lot
    • Car exhibitors receive free breakfast; guests pay regular rate

Food Handler Compliance

  • Food-handler certifications progressing among LEOs
    • Four or five LEOs completing certification
    • LEOs declined reimbursement because existing club funding is available
  • Kitchen-affiliated certification copies still needed
    • Copies requested for submission to relevant contacts
    • Colleen’s and speaker’s certificates already available
    • Mark Clifton’s copy pending; Bob Acker  completed certification

LEO Program

  • LEO program reached 32 active members
    • New president, vice president, and secretary
  • LEO meeting schedule moving to Fridays next month
    • Change intended to improve participation
    • Goal: Full engagement rather than five- or ten-minute attendance
    • Schedule change linked to growth in number of clubs
