Sec Gary visited with Paul Walters who was happy to see him, they chatted, Paul handed off a few boxes of ‘stuff’ for Gary’s use as Secretary. Gary held Paul’s hand and then shared a joke with apparently really tickled Paul.

March date TBD for visit to City of Hope in Duarte – Lions Day at C of H.
April 16th – ECV Lions Foundation Board Meeting. All are invited to attend.

VICE PRESIDENTS REPORTS:
1st VP Penny Duane
PP Don reported he is waiting for confirmation from The Brig for our June 29th Installation event.
Treas Paul T reported Gunsmoke meetings continue after each club meeting.
PP Yvonne reported that Lions Camp Jack, at Whispering Winds is scheduled for June 28 thru July 3rd this year. If we want to keep the fishing event as our service project I need someone to step up to coordinate the fishermen, tackle, bait and be ready for an onslaught of campers on Wednesday, July 1st at Cuyamaca Lake. PP JR stepped up, volunteered adding PP Tom Normandie and GT 3 to the regular group of PP Gary Robinson, Bob Acker and Ron Black. Any others wishing to join this elite group, contact JR. Thanks JR for volunteering.
After fishing all Lions are invited to the camp to enjoy a nice lunch, free to volunteers.
2nd VP Grant Thiem III
PP Yvonne reported the District Convention will be Sat-Sun May 2nd-3rd at the Hilton Pivot Point in Yuma, AZ. Registration forms will be available at next weeks meeting. April 30th Friday events include bowling, a luncheon offsite, Hospitality Suites, Membership Meeting at 5PM and an informal dinner at 6:30 PM with Hospitality Suites again at 8:45-10:15.
