AI-generated content may be incorrect.Last week, after our meeting, we had board members nominate a lion veteran of the year, a member to be lion veteran of the year, and the board chose a lion. This is the first time the ECVHL Club has entered the contest. Lion Dick Nasif is our Lion Veteran nominee. Let’s give him our support and attend the luncheon

This is an annual event that the district puts on.

And I would encourage a lot of you to let us know what your military background is and what your community activities have been, because there’s a strong emphasis on community.

In either case, come November 2nd to this luncheon, and of course, I’ll be going; the club is going to take care of my own native Veteran Lion, and I would encourage any of you to please also attend to support Dick

It’s a really nice event.

And if any of you want to, I’m going to send mine and Dick’s money in.

If any of you want me to send your money in, just give me your check, payable to the district, and I’ll send it all together.

We’ve only got until October 20th $50.

Mercy Walters:

I’d like to spend a little bit on the veteran of the year.

That is the program that I started when I was District Governor.

So we thought that it would be a good idea to have a lion veteran of the year.

And that was started in 2018, 2019, in June.
