PROGRAM:

Brent Ford is a Special Ed (AME Pathway) Instructor at El Cajon Valley HS, he taught previously at El Cap and attended Granite Hills HS.  AME is an acronym for Arts, Media & Entertainment and its Mission Statement is to further technical education for students via a specific Pathway, in this case, AME.

Emilio is an Instructional Aide for the AME program teaching editing, audio, flying drones, directing, scripting, lighting, and all things related to the production of a show, concert, video, etc.

Idaly is a student and trying to learn all the things involving AME.

EJ, also a student, is the manager for campus concerts named “Live at Lunch Concerts” which are held once a month as weather permits.  The school has held approximately 60-70 concerts in the past 7 years.

The AME Pathway has completed a media production for the City of El Cajon State of the City video.  They are also partnering with Taylor Guitars to shoot their business videos in the studios at the high school.  The classes can do off-campus concerts and presentations.

There are 3 classes of 35 students each with ongoing waiting lists.

The school has built a new concrete stage on the quad for the concerts.

They are seeking funds for the GUHSD Film Fest expenses and the ECV HS Live at Lunch Concert Series.
