.Lion Boni reminded us that this Sat Nov 2nd at 10 AM will be the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Salvation Army Community Center on E Main St.  11AM begins Open House.

.IPDG Mercy gave a pep talk/reminder about our upcoming street clean up service project which we plan to do every first Saturday of each month.  We need at least 4 members to work on this project.  This Sat meet at 8AM at the NEEC of Madison and 2nd.

.Prez Chris presented PP Yvonne with the Al Ohrmund Supporter Award  from Lions Fourth District Student Speakers Foundation, Inc.

 
 


.IPDG Mercy inducted Jason Taub as our newest Newbie member with Lion Rob Ransweiler, his sponsor, at hand to pin him.  As an added bonus Newbie Lion Jason received a homemade cheesecake from Lion Elisabeth.

PP RAY’S RAMBLINGS:  

Richard had 2 -50-yard line seats for the Super Bowl.  A stranger noticed the open seat and inquired why.  Richard said he wife of 60 years had always come with him but not today – of course the stranger suggested he could have brought a friend but Richard responded that they were all at his wife’s funeral.

.Warren $50 to the Foundation.  PP Bob Moreau got him a bottle of Makers Mark 46 bourbon and Prez Chris tried to auction it off since it was sitting at the podium.  Lion Rob bid $40 but when Warren said Chris had stolen the bottle  Rob had to withdraw his bid as he couldn’t have stolen property.

  2nd Veep Gary Z thought this entire story was great and he also donated $50 to the Foundation.  Thanks Fellow Lions for your generosity and a good story.

.Tom N $50 to the Foundation.  He had to leave Cabo early to return home to a very sick Malone;  he slipped and fell and got a boo on his head?; he lost a toenail when PP Grant Thiem Jr fell on him on the boat, and; he cut his hair

.Dick N $5 is so happy the Isis leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead.

.Cathy B $5 Welcomed Newbie Jason to the club
