Sept 8th East County Chamber of Commerce First Friday Breakfast 7:15 AM, reservation required with deadline on 8/28.  The venue will be Foothills Church on Bradley in El Cajon.

Sept 14th – ECVH LC Board Meeting 6 PM at Elks Lodge Conference Room-ALL are welcomed.

Sept 23rd – ECVH LC Annual Picnic at the Bramwell Estate – 1-5 PM Sign-up at Meetings

Oct 1st – ECVH LC Pancake Breakfast Elks Lodge

LCI Coordinator Yvonne Paris:

LCI President Dr. Patti Hill is stressing membership growth with the newest program “Mission 1.5” which hopes to increase worldwide membership by 100,000 to 1.5 million. 

The best way to accomplish increased membership is for every member to ‘replace themselves’ with a new member.  This theory can perpetuate itself with each new member.

.Mike R $20 his son and partner visited from Sydney.

.Cathy B’s $10 due date for their great-granddaughter was last Saturday….waiting, waiting.

.Bill S $20 Happy he is not in jail re an issue of he and his car in a parking lot accident.

.Bob S $20 finally closed a year-long transaction.

SEMI-PROGRAM:

Phil Smith shared a story about his recent vacation with Lori Lynn. They had a great time visiting Utah, Idaho, and Montana and went to Glacier National Park.  Then on to Yellowstone for 10 days and to the Madison River, where the deer hit the Jeep’s windshield – the deer died after being hit by oncoming traffic. They went to Cody, WY, Devils Tower National Monument, and Sturgis for a day.  The trip concluded with visits to North Dakota, Mt. Rushmore, and a train ride through the Black Hills.
