ROGER STEBLETON:

PP Roger has been a Lion since 1976 the same year he began his legal practice in El Cajon.  He retired fully in 2009 but semi-retired in 1992 which is when he and Pat began travelling and their first trip lasted 3 months.  Pat wanted to go to China and Roger to SE Asia so they compromised and started in one and then the other.

They bought a house in Costa Rica in 1991 in the town of Tamarindo which had about 1500 people when they purchased and now has about 15,000 inhabitants, many of which are families from the US and Canada and there are many ex-patriots also.

They travelled the globe for 8 ½ months spending much of their time with the locals but their real passion is for Costa Rica.
