PROGRAM:

Second District Supervisor Joel Anderson

Presented Rob with recognition for all the good Rob has done for our community.

Joel got 2.5M to add sheriffs to close down illegal pot shops in the county.

Also 68% of SVPs were in the 2nd Supervisorial District when Joe became our representative and addressing the homeless issues have become a priority for him starting his work on Magnolia at the Vernon St bridge.  The homeless are provided a path to a better life, getting off the streets but they must have a desire to choose this alternative.

92% of those attending ECTLC complete their program and go on to have a productive life including a job and independent housing.  A majority of the homeless are seniors who are unable to cope with the ever-increasing cost of living expenses.

A study indicates that in the next 10 years San Diego County will have more retired veterans than anywhere else in California.
