Song: Today’s song is going to be by a gentleman named George Lohan.
Mr. Lohan was a patron.
He was a songwriter.
He wrote a play.
And one of the plays he wrote this song for was George Washington Jr.
A musical that they wrote back in 1906. Tell me you guys might have been there.
Oh yeah, I remember that.
Oh yeah.
But it’s a great song from elementary school.
I remember it.
It’s called… You’re a grand old flag.
HELEN KELLER QUOTE BY: __Carol Livesay________________
“It is wonderful how much time good people spend fighting the devil. If they would only expend the same amount of energy loving their fellow man, the devil would die in his own tracks of boredom”

Sad News:

I was deeply saddened to hear of Susan Acker’s passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Susan’s warmth, generosity, and presence in the El Cajon community touched many lives, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
May Bob Acker find comfort in the love and support of family and friends, and in the cherished memories. My thoughts are with him and his family.
