.Jim Sing $50 – the San Diego PD solved a cold case which Jim had worked on when he was on active duty.

.Chris $10 for Starr coming to meeting toda and $10 because he didn’t want to admit he got a new car

.Tony $1 Happy because Chris is happy

.Cathy B $2 – proud of Zahara

.Bob Acker said Tom Hoban has been treating our Tail Twisters disrespectfully but Karma took over when, after last weeks meeting, Tom approached his new $200K+ sports car in the parking lot only to find the sprinklers had come on during the meeting.  Of course if Tom’s car not been parked in the wrong parking spot his car would not have been soaked.  The “Hatchet Man” will have the fines basket at our next meeting.

Zahara Almosawi, Past President of the El Cajon Valley LEO Club and PP of the District LEO’s.  Zahara said being a LEO club member gave her the opportunity to come out of her shell and made her more comfortable with public speaking.  She recently graduated Cum Laude from SDSU and is preparing for her Masters Degree work.  Zahara hopes to join our club as she believes in the vision of Lionism and our club would be a good ‘fit’ for her.  She is very thankful for all the opportunities being a LEO afforded her.  We look forward to seeing her on our membership rolls.

PROGRAM –

Chief Mike Moulton El Cajon Police Department was called out of town and in his stead Lion Capt. Rob gave us a synopsis of Sunday’s events that took place in El Cajon before/during/after the Support Israel Rally.  Apparently the Rally itself was very peaceful and came off without incident within the fenced off area but outside groups (115 +/- from L.A.) made their presence known with a confrontation between an Antifa group, Pro Palestinians and the local Patriot group Defend East County.

ECPD used a distance drone for the rally and protest which can yield vivid details of what is going on from several city blocks away, being undetectable to those in view.

Capt. Rob offered that much thanks goes to SDPD, SDSO (Sheriff), LMPD and the DA’s office for their reciprocal assistance Sunday.

Winner of Attendance Drawing: Paul Walters $40

Winner of 50/50 Drawing: Nancy DeTomaso $53
