PROGRAM: Bianca Villalobos.
Bianca is in the 6th grade/12 years old, and is home schooled by her mom Tina. She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes as a 2 year old, and she has Celiac Disease. Bianca has entered many pageants and has won several titles, and this has given her a platform for talking about Type 1 Diabetes. She is leading a team of walkers hoping to raise $5K for the JDRF One – formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She had collected $1,000 so far and our generous members donated an additional $1263 today.
Bianca brought in 120 eyeglasses she has collected.
