As for our Visitation with the LEO Club

.Lion LEO Advisor Mike Carleton did a great job of providing the liquid refreshments and pizza for the large group in attendance.   Mike reported on how great the LEO Club members are and how the world looks brighter with youngsters like them coming into adulthood.

.Prez Rob asked the LEO Club seniors to tell us about themselves, their future aspirations, be it college or otherwise, how being a member has helped them, what they enjoyed most about being a LEO and finally, how we can help them in their future.

.The tell-all began with LEO President Heaven, a senior, but a member since her sophomore year.  She has enjoyed working on our pancake breakfasts and the club’s blood drives.

.Amin, a senior, joined as a junior and has enjoyed working with other people, on the pancake breakfast and wants to be a mechanical engineer.  Prez Rob can make connections for him.

.Leonardo wants to study computer science and asks for guidance as he progresses through his studies.

.Kinji wants to get into nursing and plans to attend SDSU.

.Jarrod will study kinesiology to be a physical therapist.

.Elia, club secretary, wants to get into the financial field/banking but also wants to join the Marines.

.Daniel is going to UCSD and study computer science.

.We enjoyed hearing from the seniors and their plans for the future.  Sec Paul W invited them to a meeting during the summer.

.Staff LEO Advisor Mr. Davies made it just in time to talk about the LEO Club activities this year.  He is very proud to have been selected “Teacher of the Year” at El Cajon Valley HS
