Mr. Harper sued the hospital for his wife’s ‘unsuccessful’ surgery stating she no longer has any interest in sex. The hospital responded that Mrs. Harper had eye surgery to correct her vision!

Kiley paid $5 for an ice fishing trip to Wisconsin where the weather was 18 degrees. And btw PP Bob Moreau accidentally found out about this trip but was more than pleased to share the info to get Jeff and Kiley in trouble.

Bill Sturgeon $? – played a baseball game in Palm Springs and had a great time. Due to his hit the team made it to the finals on Sunday.

Chris tried to pay $20 for a multitude of sins but TT Bob A gave him his money back. Among other things having to do with the plaque in Chris’ arteries created by stress at our meetings Chris parked in the Elks bookkeepers’ parking spot.

PROGRAM:
SDSU Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Gene Lamke
Gene Lamke began his career at San Diego State University in 1968 as a Graduate Assistant and became a member of the full-time faculty in 1969 as a member of the Recreation and Physical Education Departments. He has taught at SDSU from 1960s to the 2010s. He has been selected as the Most Influential Faculty Member by the Outstanding Graduating Senior on 13 different occasions. He was the first faculty member to receive the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts Outstanding Faculty Award (now named the Monty) in 1984. He served as Chair of the Department of Recreation, Parks and Tourism for 15 years. He, along with Dr. Mark Butler, designed and founded the Hospitality and Tourism Management degree program at SDSU now 18 years in existence. SDSU now has both Bachelors and Masters degrees in hotels, restaurant, meetings and events and, tribal gaming programs.
He is the Project Director of Camp Able at Coronado, the beach-based summer day camp for disabled children, youth, and adults at Silver Strand State Beach (completed its 30th year of operations in 2010).
Gene travels to China about 5 times a year to teach students a customer service culture which they lack. In China there are 3 categories of higher education wherein the top third of highest grade earners goes to their top college for free. The 2nd third attend the 2nd best college and the bottom third go to vocational schools similar to our community colleges.
